Our merchant and investment banking division provides Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory, Capital Raising, Fairness Opinion and similar services to institutional and corporate clients, primarily in the middle market. We are known for meeting shareholder objectives, engaging in a win-win style of negotiation and running efficient, effective transactions. Our most active service is sell-side M&A advisory (selling companies or divestitures of divisions / brands).

We focus on a high-touch service commitment, CEO-level relationships and uncompromised integrity to drive our competitive position. Furthermore, IMP's independence allows our business to be unencumbered by traditional institutional conflicts of interest.

As merchant bankers, we partner with our clients in select situations. Whether investing in a client as part of a transaction or providing bridge financing, we can be creative to assist clients in maximizing value. We currently hold equity stakes in a number of consumer, media and entertainment businesses as a result of our work with those clients.
